Acquisition of advanced theoretical knowledge and practical experience in CAD systems. Application of knowledge in solving a specific design task.

Summary

Students will gain knowledge of 3D modeling part. Students improve the basics of parametric 3D modeling. They solve the creation of reports, including the creation of 2D drawings from the model.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

There are designed and rated scoring examples, practiced uring the semester At final evaluation, emphasis is placed on completion of all practical examples given to PC Semestral Project The project must be developed based on the requirements of the Head of training and associated elements. 40 points Exam Theoretical final test is based on practical and theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures and seminars. 20 points. Another type of task (2 examples for 20 points) The practical part is devoted to work on a PC classroom 40 points

Subject syllabus:

3D CAD / CAE system INVENTOR. Creating drawings from 3D part model. Creation of drawings from the 3D assembly model. Parts lists, editing hatch. For information about establishing the project and project work. The use of materials, visualization, rendering. Transferring data between applications. Principles of teamwork in the project. Drawings in an Inventor. Preparing drawings for printing. Basic information about the possibilities of FEM in Inventor.
