Students received knowledge with 3D modeling, 2D drafting in the CAD/CAM/ CAE system Catia V5. There is possibility to use knowledge for solve work in design area.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

During the semester are rated solved examples. The activity of the solution nebodovaných examples are taken into account in credit. The final evaluation for accreditation is the emphasis on passing a practical example on the PC and submission of term project.

Subject syllabus:

The CAD / CAM / CAE system CATIA - basic concepts, mouse control, module concepts, workbeanch. Modeling components in the environment. Commands for creating profiles - Sketcher. Basics of creating and editing surfaces, the use of spline curves to create surfaces. Create reports, entering and editing links. Principles of design in engineering. Elements of ergonomics for the design of machines. Creating 2D drawings from 3D model. Production cuts, finish drawing the field. Introduction to reporting, links between components. The use of materials, rendering, visualization and animation in the CAD / CAM / CAE CATIA for product presentations.
