Summary

Students receive theoretical and practical knowledge of the modeling complex parts, surface modeling, creating 2D documentation, visualization and animation, the use of FEM in CAD ​​/ CAM / CAE system CATIA. Practically apply knowledge gained during the study to address the specific design situation

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

During the semester are rated solved examples. The activity of the solution nebodovaných examples are taken into account in credit. The final evaluation for accreditation is the emphasis on passing a practical example of the PC and submission of semester project. Practical example A practical example of the PC is based on practical and theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures and seminars. 10 points. Semestral Project The project must be developed based on the requirements of the Head of training and associated elements. 25 points Minimum credit score for 18 points Test (1 and 2 example questions) It consists of practical and theoretical part, practical part is devoted to classroom work on the PC. The theoretical part of the test includes 2 questions can be enforced through written or practical. 65 points The condition for the successful completion of the course a minimum profit from the activities of the exercise test and 51 points.

Subject syllabus:

Modeling of complex components in the CAD / CAM / CAE system CATIA. Module Mechanical Design, Wireframe and Surface Design - creation of surfaces, surface editing. Use module Shape Design Generative Environment Sheet Metal Design tools for creating advanced sheet metal parts and assemblies. Working with materials, creating libraries of materials. Basic information on the components of the FEM analysis. Output data for FEM analysis. Use Module Ergonomics Design and Analysis - Human measurments Editor. Human Activity Analysis Builder, Human, Human Posture Analysis for reporting Photo Studio - visualization and animation in the CATIA. Export data into other software, the interconnection between other CAD systems. Export data for visualization in the environment of the V-Ray. Preparing for printing posters.
