The goal is to gain basic knowledge of design work in machine design, awareness of the impact on the functionality of a designer, economy, operational reliability and environmental performance of constructed facilities.

Summary
Development of new technologies, not only in engineering but also in all sectors
industrial and social needs, requires no new production machines and solutions
equipment. Therefore, the design of machines and inevitably the whole production line
placed great demands. The course contains new information and knowledge from the field
designed production machines in all the wider context. The aim of the course
not discuss the design and construction details of each machine, but the shape
professional profile of a graduate, learn the basics of its design and construction
machines.

Subject syllabus:
1st Modern trends of Czech and world engineering and its current status. Industrial production in the world, the restructuring and development. Modern methods of design and construction machinery.
2nd Technical documentation of the manufacturing machines. Construction of machines and their structure. The definition of manufacturing machinery. Distribution of manufacturing machines by industries and their basic characteristics. Theory building production machines.
3rd Technical and performance characteristics of machines and their classification. Energosilové relationships at work and modes of production machines. Analysis of the demands on the manufacturing machine ie the machine performance characteristics, reliability, durability.
4th The design of production lines in various industries in relation to production technology.
5th Theory of design of production machines and equipment. Design of automotive systems and carry out their arrangement. Electrical, Hydraulic, air and combined machine drives. Claims for machine control systems.

9th Design of production techniques in mechanical engineering. The manufacturing technique used in various industrial sectors. Design and construction of selected production systems.
10th Environmental requirements for the construction and operation of manufacturing machines.
11th Examples of kinematic patterns of machines and their computational and structural analysis and synthesis.
12th Design, construction machinery manufacturing. Coatings and surface treatment of machine parts.
13th Excursions into the industrial business - date will be announced during the semester.
