Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Proceeding from the subjects Engineering Materials and Engineering Technology II, develop the knowledge of students in the production of arms and ammunition. Acquaint them with particularities in the production of arms and ammunition, materials used in making parts of armament items and the crucial technological processes in making single components of weapon systems and ammunition, acquaint them with typical procedures used in production of arms and ammunition, surface finishing technologies, assembly, and inspections in the production of arms and ammunition.

Summary

After successful completion of the course the student will be referred for the evaluation and assessment of technologies for the manufacture of weapons and ammunition. Will be able the production parameters of individual technologies and their influence on the quality of weapons and ammunition.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Subject syllabus:

Assessment of the basic use and suitability of individual technologies for the production of weapons and ammunition. Assessment of geometric properties and quality of weapon components. Introduction to weapons and ammunition technologies. Quality assessment of weapons and ammunition components.
