Summary
The course covers the basics of measurement hunting, sports and defensive weapons and testing of weapons and sights.
Basic concepts: an experiment, measurement, measurement error, measurement uncertainty, impulse shot, ballistic pressure, stroke angle, muzzle velocity, trigger, range, sighting accuracy and resolution.

Subject syllabus:
Scheme of experimental arrangement and measurement.
Fundamentals of metrology: metrology organizations in the Republic, the basic concepts of metrology.
The concepts of measurement error and uncertainty: definitions, classification of uncertainties, presence of systematic and random uncertainties, the uncertainty about the functions of several variables, law of propagation of uncertainty, optimization of measurement.
Statistics in the measurement results, linear regression analysis, graphical methods for measurement processing.
Gauges, measuring systems and measuring instruments: their functions, features and bugs basic information on electrical testing and measurement. Measurement pressure in the main small-caliber weapons.
Measurements of muzzle velocity of the projectile.
Measurement of functional movement of the end.
Measurement trigger.
Measurement of ignition energy percussion mechanisms.
Testing of hunting, sporting and defensive weapons.
Basic information about the safety of laboratory operations, in a ballistic service and range.
