Summary
This subject is focused on a comprehensive solution of the individually assigned issues within the scope of branch. The topics are current according to the needs of industrial practice and also result from the research tasks of the department. The output of this work is an important part of the final qualification work. The work is individual, while other academic staff and, in large part, consultants from the companies that are the subject of the project involved in solving the problem. A frequent part of the solution of the given problems is the controlled short-term practice of the students in the contracting company, consultations with experts from industrial enterprises, lectures of practitioners with a focus on the construction of the machines design, etc. Since this subject is largely based on independent work of the student, consultations and possible practice in the company, self-study and study of literature and other sources, the subject is ranked by a greater number of credits in relation to the number of planned hours of consultations than is usual for other subjects of study.
