Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will improve their skills actively apply piece of knowledge, which they gain over a period of previous studies at solving of particular theme of industrial design. They improve in methodical access and skills to analyze and consequently to solve given design concept.

Summary

Content of the exercise is usually the design of new equipment or individual components of a device. Students start from structural and design base, from literary and patent background research of given problem and from theoretic piece of knowledge, which they acquired during previous studies. They will try these findings and knowledges actively apply to given problems.

Compulsory literature:

Study literature will be recommended depending on the theme of the bachelor thesis. SW for machine parts designing, computer programs for computer labs.

Recommended literature:

Standards, machine parts catalogs, technical and Mechanical table and company literature - according to the assignment character.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Checks in the second, fifth and eighth weeks of the semester.

Final project programme: 1. Design training submission, meet graphical documentation and background papers, study literature (books, patents, magazines, standards) - continuously 2. Technical processing of selected design - elaboration of graphical documentation, model 5. Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: As part of completing the course, the conditions are considered to be met by the submission of semester tasks (e.g. presentation, poster, physical model, etc.), which included periodic face-to-face consultations, while the point evaluation of the graded credit result corresponds to min. classification level E (ECTS class. scale), respectively class. grade 3 (national class. scale).
