Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is to learn the basic measurement methods and their application in industry, the principles of in situ measurements in the laboratory, using measuring chains, evaluation measurements and determination of measurement uncertainties.

Teaching methods

Summary

Students will be provided with the fundamentals of measurement in situ, selection of measuring elements and instruments, principles of objective results of measurement. They will acquaint themselves with specific examples of measurement. They will learn how to evaluate the measurement and how to process measurement errors.
