Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is to acquaint students with the basic principles and mechanisms in the field of preparation, design and implementation of machine production capacities (manufacturing machine technology) against the background of processes and processes taking place in the field of capital construction. Students will gradually become acquainted with the broader issues in the realization of machine production capacities, such as the principles of product placement and site selection, the process of processing and content of investment project documentation, design principles and methods, and others according to the syllabus.

Summary

Students will learn basic knowledge in the field of preparation, designing and realization of machine production capacities (production machine technology). All this against the background of procedures and processes taking place in the field of investment construction. The course is focused on industrial and manufacturing complexes and plants including their selected parts. Other parts of the course will be devoted to issues such as transport, energy supply, as well as areas such as legislation, spatial planning and other areas according to the course curriculum.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Continuous control of knowledge by individually assigned tasks, control questions and final test. A semestral project is applied, which allows additional time burden outside direct teaching. Knowledge is verified by an oral exam.

Subject syllabus:

1. Basic concepts, definitions, meaning and analysis of design issues. Legislation in the process of preparation (design) and construction of buildings. 2. Design of production machines with regard to their safety. 3. Industrial production and its zones, residence-workplace relationship, production placement. Site selection, types of plant construction plans. 4. Investment process, basic types of activities, control inputs of state administration into the proces. The process of processing the investment project documentation in individual phases. 5. Project assignment, documentation for designing, construction participants, structure division. 6. Spatial planning, planning documentation in connection with the construction of production plants, urban planning. 7. Building control, scope and structure of documentation. Related chapters from "Cadastre of Real Estate" and "Engineering Geodesy". 8. Principles and methods of designing, general plan of the plant, methods of placing individual objects. 9. Typology, characteristics and solution of individual building objects, process of designing a production object, urban design of the project, production interior and its parameters. 10. transport and handling equipment in production plants, their characteristics, warehouse management, design principles. 11. Engineering networks - basic characteristics of technical equipment, classification, basic design requirements, layout. 12. characteristics of systems for transport of individual types of energy (electricity, technical gases). 13. Project management. 14. External links of the production plant (transport, energy, waste), hygiene and safety of work, automation and rationalization of design work.
