The aim of the course is to teach students practical skills when performing diagnostic measurements using the available measuring and laboratory equipment.x

Summary

The subject focuses on the practical aspect of technical diagnostics of machinery. The aim of this subject is to archieve the practical skills of the students during the practical measurements by the available techniques, their orientation in the given issue and the subsequent interpretation of the obtained results. The archieved skills are an integral part of the diagnostics basic knowledge.

The student must be able to work independently in carrying out laboratory works on the basis of written instructions under supervision of the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

1. Vibration diagnostics - diagnostics of sliding and rolling bearings, methods for evaluation of technical condition. 2. Vibration diagnostics - operating forms of oscillations 3. Vibrodiagnostics - practical measurement, evaluation of measured data. 4. Resonance - causes, methods of measurement. 5. Resonance - practical examples and troubleshooting. 6. Resonance - software processing of simulations, construction. 7. Tribodiagnostics - advanced methods for monitoring the technical condition of machines - laboratory measurements 8. Tribodiagnostics - advanced methods for monitoring the technical condition of machines - laboratory measurements 9. Acoustic diagnostics - measurement of noise. 10. Acoustic diagnostics - building x mechanical acoustics, hygienic measurements. 11. Acoustic diagnostics - signs of machine damage. heat. in the monitored acoustic signal. 12. Acoustic diagnostics - ultrasonic measurements in machine diagnostics. 13. Electrodiagnostics - use of thermodiagnostics to identify and eliminate problems. 14. Diagnostics of electric motors - asymmetry of electromagnetic field, measurement, evaluation, causes, current spectra.
