Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject brings to students further extension of knowledge in individually assigned problems in relation to the topic of the final thesis. Students use their practical knowledge and creative approach in solving assigned problems.

Summary

The aim of the course is correct application of methods of technical diagnostics on individually specified problems, usually in real conditions in practice. Students also have at their disposal a laboratory of technical diagnostics, including a number of standard and innovative devices for professional solutions to the given problems. They have a unique opportunity to design and verify the suitability of the method before real application, or to perform appropriate laboratory analyzes and evaluation. An integral part is the consultation on the issue with practitioners as well as experts from the academic sphere.

Subject syllabus:

1. Setting goals, eventually adjusting the goals of semester work. 2. - 3. Processing of data for semestral work (completion of company literature, ČSN, maintenance instructions, maintenance documents). 4. - 13. Practical measurements in industrial plant or laboratory. Processing of results, proposal of remedial measures. 14. Finalization and defense of the project.
