Summary
Basic selected theories related to the computer simulations in industry. Work in CAD/CAM system NX. 3D modeling, assemblies, simulation of strength and modal analysis using material linearity. Implementation of a practical project from the automotive.
Study of selected theories from the subjects of mathematics, mechanics and elasticity and strength, which are necessary for understanding the principle of computer simulations in industry.
Compulsory literature:
Recommended literature:
Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
In the introductory part, demonstrating of the implementation of no rated tasks in the field of 3D modeling, assembly and simulation in order to obtain the basics of working with the CAD / CAM system NX.
During the semestr project, gradual demonstration of the implementation of partial parts of the project, the subject of which is several variants of computer simulations related to the project.
Report in electronic form from the implementation of the assigned semester project. The content of this report demonstrates the student's theoretical knowledge and practical skills in of the computer simulations in industry. This report is a condition for granting credit. The minimum points gain for the credit is 18b and the maximum 35b, while the evaluation of the point gain for the credit is determined by the leader of the exercise.
The exam includes verification of related theoretical knowledge and other knowledge acquired during computer simulations within the subject. The exam takes the form of an interview on the topics listed in the theory and on the subject of the submitted report from the semester project. The maximum number of points achieved for the theoretical part of the exam is 65b. The exam is usually in a computer room and the examiner can also request a practical demonstration of the NX system from the examined student during the theoretical interview.
The condition for successful completion of the subject is a minimum gain from activities in the subject of a total of 51 points.
