Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Graduates will deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of human activity - will be able to orientate oneself in the field of machinery and equipment for minerals extraction. Will be able to logically think and design machines and mechanisms in a given focus for specific applications.

Teaching methods

Individual consultations
Project work

Graduate of the subject obtains a wider summary of technical facilities, constructional solving of basic nodal points of objective mechanization and mechanical units, the technology of the machinery and the equipment for minerals exploitation. Students will also learn basic strength and performance calculations. They are also acquainted with new and original technologies used in mining, including auxiliary mechanization and modern trends in the field.
