Student zpracuje a následně při zkoušce obhájí seminární práci z oblasti dopravních strojů a zařízení s využitím vědeckých a patentových databází (WoS, EPO, UPV) a vyhledá informace o stavu poznání pro konkrétní zařízení s přihlédnutím k tématu dizertační práce.
