Objective of the course is to familiarize students with basic theory and practical applications transport facilities. In this subject the student familiar with the areas of classification and characteristics transported materials, the theoretical foundations of transport, transport equipment continuous transport, transport equipment for intermittent traffic.

Lectures Importance and objectives of transport. Distribution of traffic and transport facilities. Basic equation. Physical properties těživa. Power calculation of the transport equipment. Theory of transmission of force by friction. The basic method of determining the tensile strength. Towing elements. Belt conveyor. Principle, the division, the main part. Accessories. Basic theory and computation. Bucket elevator. Scraper conveyor, principle, classification, major parts. Scraper conveyor. Basic theory and computation. Chain conveyor. Vibratory conveyor. Transport in the pipeline. Traffic own weight. Rail transport. Rail track, rolling stock, driving resistances. Calculations of locomotive transport. Transport rope. Winches, driving station friction disc. Suspension lift. Hanging to the right. Special ground track. Vehicles on the tires. Containers and closures. Selection of the transport system.
