Understanding of industrial and operational process in transport. Comprehension of economical relationship in passenger and freight transport, principles of business, national macroeconomic and transport policy. Comprehension of financial relationship among state, regions, municipalities and transport companies. Economical instruments application to entrepreneurship and control of transport companies.

Summary

Characteristics of industrial and operational process in transport. Principles of transport economy, transport company control, basic economical category in enterprise, transport company financing. Economical relationship in passenger and freight transport. Economical result - income/costs. Rail transformation. Effectiveness investigation of rail, road and air transport. Transport coordination and modal split. Principles and tools for property renewal. National macroeconomic policy, aims, its tools and effects, transport policy resources. EU transport policy. Economical and financial relationship of state and transport. Labour productivity in transport, technical and economical indicators in transport, statistics, costs and income in transport, economic interest, planning and supply process.
