Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic structural units of aircraft, materials for their production and the basic principles of maintenance of aircraft technology.

After completing the course, the student will gain an overview of the structural units of aircraft, materials used for their production and possible ways of damage. They will also get acquainted with the basic principles of aircraft maintenance.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
The acquired knowledge of students is continuously verified during individual lessons in the form of discussion and questions with the aim of active involvement of students in teaching. Students' knowledge is verified at the end of the semester by a written credit test.
