Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is for students to achieve the necessary competencies to focus on the issue of flight planning and executing in general aviation.Completion of this course is part of the theoretical training to acquire the Private Pilot Licence (PPL).

Summary

The course is based on module 033 Flight planning and monitoring. The content is focused on the knowledge of flight planning according to the rules in VFR visibility. Comprehensive knowledge of all factors influencing VFR flight planning significantly increases its safety. The student will acquire competencies in the field of VFR flight planning, basics of navigation training and basic calculations associated with it to the extent that allows him to pass the PPL exams at the Civil Aviation Authority in Prague.
