Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The goal is for students to achieve the necessary competencies to focus on standard operating procedures used in commercial aviation. Completion of this course is part of the theoretical training to acquire pilote licence.

Summary
The course is based on module 070 – Operating Procedures.
The course acquaints students with the interpretation of aviation regulations, rules, and procedures, which is a basic prerequisite for the safe execution of an IFR flight.
The student will also acquire competencies in the field of Operational Procedures, which allow him to pass the ATPL exams at the Civil Aviation Authority in Prague.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
The acquired knowledge of students is continuously verified during individual lessons in the form of discussion and questions with the aim of active involvement of students in teaching.
Students' knowledge is verified at the end of the semester by exam.

1. Introduction to Regulation L 8168.
2. Instruments Approach.
3. Aircraft categories, primary and secondary protection area.
4. Altitudes used in civil aviation.
5. Approach sections and Types of approaches.
6. Requirements for flight procedures.
7. Arrival Procedures, Approach procedures, Departure procedures and Holding Procedures.
8. En-route flight procedures.
9. LVO - low visibility operation.
10. Navigation requirements for Long-haul flights.
11. Defrosting of the aircraft, protection against icing.
13. Noise elimination.
14. Requirements for quality system and SMS system.
