Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject´s goal is to achieve the necessary competencies focused on the issues of Human Factors in the aircraft maintenance and their impact on the system safety in the air transport.

Summary

This subject deals with Human Factors in the aircraft maintenance that is required in the training for obtaining the AML license according to the European Aviation Regulation Part66. The course content is primarily a human performance and factors that set their limits, as well as social psychology, communication between people, human error or the aircraft maintenance workplace risks.

Mandatory attendence participation: Active participation in exercises at least 80%. Students must successfully complete: 1. Intermediate test (min. 20 points - max. 40 points) 2. Final test (min. 31 points - max. 60 points).

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Students prepare two semester theses according to an individual assignment and present their results. Students' knowledge is verified at the end of the semester by a credit test or exam.
