Summary

The course is to acquaint students with the design and construction of turbine engines with a focus on aircraft engines. The content meets the requirements of JAR-66 Module (15 - of 15.1 to 15.6).

Mandatory attendence participation: Active participation in exercises at least 80%. Students must successfully complete: 1. Intermediate test (min. 20 points - max. 40 points) 2. Final test (min. 31 points - max. 60 points).

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Students prepare two semester theses according to an individual assignment and present their results. Students' knowledge is verified at the end of the semester by a credit test or exam.
