Student will acquire skills of construction and engineering calculations of road vehicle bodies, axles, braking systems, steering systems, suspension and dumpers.

Subject syllabus:

Vehicle frame, types, functionality, design, basic parameters, clutch calculations. Axles, types, functionality, design, basic parameters, calculations, planetary gearset, Willis formula, torque converters, variators. Vehicle wheels , spring systems. Steering systems, driving shafts, axle drives, types, functionality, design, basic parameters.
