Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Introduction into theory and practical applications of commonly used transport telematics. Students will be introduced to properties of parking systems, navigation systems and toll collection systems. Subject contains collection information about passenger attendance and information systems in public transport.

The program of lectures 1. Definition and objectives of transport telematics 2. Transport telematics applications 3. Variable traffic signs and equipment 4. Parking Systems 5. Navigation Systems 6. The electronic toll 7. Practical implementation of the charging system in the CR 8. Application of telematics in public transport 9. Systems handling of passengers in public transport 10. Electronic systems, passenger check-in CR 11. Information and information systems in public transport 12. The vehicle's electronic information system 13. Stationary electronic information system 14. Complex systems and facilities in public transport Exercise Program 1. Basic concepts in transport telematics, discussion 2. Detection systems (license plate, going through a red light) and section speed measurement 3. Semester thesis "Practical applications of transport telematics" 4.
