Student will be informed about various kinds of traffic surveys and their evaluations, regression and correlation analysis, analysis of time series.

The subject Transport Prognostics is devoted to traffic surveys and their evaluation. The subject is further devoted to regression and correlation analysis, analysis of time series which are suitable for traffic prognosis.

Subject syllabus:

1) Basic concepts of traffic surveys. 2) Traffic volume survey and its evaluation. 3) Random vector processing. 4) Analysis of two-way tables. 5) Correlation analysis - Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient. 6) Introduction to regression analysis. 7) Introduction to time series, trend analysis of time series. 8) Selected methods of traffic prognosis.
