Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student will learn optimization methods used: - for solving of the problems related to the effective distribution of goods flow,, - for solving of the fundamental problems on the design of the structure of distribution systems, - with extended operating characteristics of selected types of queuing systems, the survey is subject to knowledge of sophisticated algorithms, - basic knowledge of the mathematical theory of traffic flows.

The course is devoted to explaining the theoretical principles of optimization methods with an emphasis on sectoral applications.

Modelling of the distribution problems in the transport systems Closed queuing system Queuing system with no queue with two series-operated lines Timing of the operating characteristics of queuing systems Optimising the queuing system Traffic flows and their modeling
