- Getting to know for basic logistics concepts, development, objectives and objects of logistics, - An explanation of the distribution logistics, reverse logistics and recycling, - Addressing the logistical problems - Creation of inventory and classification of transported materials - Clarification of the principles of corporate logistics and logistics in material handling.

Summary

Students who have chosen the subject will be acquainted with Fundamental Logistics as a science discipline in focusing with Transport and Handling. Especially, the subject is devoted to: * Corporate Logistics * Production Strategy * Stock Control in Company * Packing, Palleting and Contejners

Subject syllabus:

First week: Development of logistics, logistics definition , tasks and objects logistics. Logistics aims . The importance of logistics in transport, handling and storage. Introduction to programen exercise. Calculation of the impact of savings in logistics costs for profit. Second week: Basic logistics concepts. Logistic system and its exploration. The logistics chain. Elements of a bond system and their mathematical expression. Inputs and outputs system. Static and dynamic system. 3rd week: Distribution logistics . Objectives of distribution logistics. Feedback logistics and recycling. The intensity of the mass flow. Handling work. 4th week: Movement of matter: the driving force of the reproductive process. logistics transformation of materials, energy and information. System approach and integrated approach material and information flows. The logistics indicators. 5th week: Home logistical problems and their solutions. Manufacturing strategy. Method Just in Time. KANBAN system . 6th week: Stock management, creation of reserves. Model making supplies. Model optimization of inventory in the planning of removal. 7th week: Transported materials. Formulation of a mathematical expression transport problems. TEST # 1 . 8th week: Material Flow Traffic performance for continuous and intermittent transport. 9th week: Business logistics . Analysis of material , Chart P-Q . 10th week: Information technology in logistics. Planning the logistics. Methods of locating objects on the intensity of the flow of material. 11th week: Packing, containerization and palletization. Distribution handling products and systems. Sizing handling devices and systems. Calculation of pallet and the number of containers. 12th week: Logistics in material handling. TEST # 2 13th week: Transport: railway , automobile , marine , pipeline and air. Criteria for choice of transport and transport services providers. Calculating the cost of transport modes. Comparison of modes of transport. 14th week: Reserve
