Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject deals with the capacity problems of the railway net (railway stations and the section of the line). It includes the metods for the calculations of the capacity in the deterministic and the stochastic conditions of traffic.

The recapitulation of the information from the subject "Transport Technology and Control I" The rail station - the calculation of the capacity The sections between the rail stations - the calculation of the capacity The occurence of the routes to the graphic timetable - the validation of the statistic independence The collision points - the calculation of capacity The possibilities for the increasing of the capacity The time reserve and its using for the liquidation of the delay
