Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

will be able to describe the differences in design solutions of racing cars and will be able to describe the principles of the function individual construction components of racing vehicles. Students will be understand the importance of aerodynamic components in the construction of racing cars. They will be able to define the safety elements used in racing cars.

Summary

In this course They will learn specific racing vehicles, their homologation regulations and constructional solutions of individual parts. Race cars are specific road vehicles designed for motorsport. The categories of motorsport have special rules and technical regulations and constructionally are different. In motorsport, the focus is on the safety of the crew, which also corresponds to the design solution of individual category of racing cars.
