Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
In the course "Technology and Storage System Technology in Transport" the students will become acquainted with the technology of goods handling (material) during loading operations and warehouses. It also acquaints itself with the technical base needed for technology implementation.
The course focuses on the following areas:
- the role and place of material handling,
- properties of the material to be handled, in particular bulk materials,
- equipment for mechanization of handling operations,
- special equipment for the mechanization of loading operations in rail, road and combined transport,
- construction and technical modifications for the use of machinery,
- warehousing and storage, system design of complex mechanization,
- technical and economic evaluation of handling operations,
- the safety of work when carrying out handling operations.

Full-time form of study:
The subject is finished by the exam
A credit test is a minimum of 18 points in the overall assessment. The point track is as follows:
test 2 x 10 points = 20 points
1st program 5 points
2nd program 10 points
The exam is oral and consists of the defense of the program No. 1 and answering 3 questions. The defense of program 1 is rated 0 to 5 points, each
question 0 to 20 points. The condition is a minimum of 5 points for each question.
Combined form of study:
Moodle credit test - maximum 20 points, minimum 8 points
Programming a professional theme: - maximum 15 points, minimum 8 points
The exam is oral and consists of the defense of the program and answering 3 questions. The defense of the program is rated 0 to 5 points, each question
0 to 20 points. The condition is a minimum of 5 points for each question.
