Summary

Students will get acquainted with the differences in the design of motorcycles compared to conventional two-track vehicles. The course covers the construction of the supporting parts of motorcycles, as well as vehicle dynamics and the drive or electrical system. Orientation in the issue is necessary to complete the general overview of road transport vehicles and expand knowledge about the dynamics of vehicle movement. Content of lectures 1. Introduction to the subject of motorcycle construction - history 2. Types of motorcycles - ECE, driving licenses,… 3. Motorcycle driving dynamics 4. Construction of motorcycle frames 5. Construction of motorcycle chassis and shock absorbers 6. Motorcycle engine construction - 7. Construction of motorcycle engines - gears, clutches 8. Motorcycle brakes 9. Electrical system of motorcycles 10.Safety of motorcycle operation
