Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the impacts of air traffic on the environment, the legislation that regulates the issue and the environmental policy of individual subjects of air transport.

Summary

The student will get acquainted with the main aspects of air transport, especially noise and emissions of aircraft engines, which fundamentally affect the environment. He will also be acquainted with legislative regulations aimed at minimizing negative effects on the environment and with the environmental policy of airports.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Credit - will consist of a written test for 30 points. The minimum number of points for obtaining credit is 15 points. Exam - will consist of an oral exam. Studen can get 70 points. The minimum number of points from the exam is 36.

Mandatory attendence participation: At least 80% participation in exercises and passing the credit test. During the semester, he will prepare and present 2 presentations on an approved topic. The course ends with an oral exam.

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Students with ISP must complete 2 consultations during the semester, which will include, among other things, the presentation of two assigned topics. They must also prepare a semester's work and successfully pass a credit test. The course ends with an oral exam.
