Summary
In the course, students will be acquainted with mechanical-physical properties
transported materials, theoretical foundations of transport and practical applications
the most commonly used transport and handling equipment in engineering,
treatment plants and power plants. A substantial part of the subject content is
dedicated to hoisting equipment, where listeners are gradually acquainted with
individual types of simple hoists and cranes, applicable standards and
computational techniques and design of hoisting equipment.
