Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Learning outcomes of the course unit Students will be acquainted with methods of analysis of dynamic phenomena in motion of vehicles. They will learn to design mathematical and functional models of selected vehicle systems.

Summary

Student of doctoral study within the subject will extend the knowledge in the field of vehicle dynamics. It is about acquiring the latest tools for modeling of vehicle ride. Part of the study is also a modeling of vibration of vehicle and vehicle combinations.

Subject syllabus:

1. Analysis of longitudinal, vertical and transverse movements and vibration of the vehicle 2. Dynamic parameters of vehicle propulsion 3. Dynamic parameters and their determination for rolling stock 4. Dynamic parameters and their determination for road vehicles 5. Dynamic parameters and their determination for tracked vehicles 6. Vehicle motion dynamics modeling tools 7. Vibration modeling tools for vehicle parts 8. Longitudinal vibration analysis of track and road vehicle kits 9. Possibilities of longitudinal oscillation modeling of vehicle sets
