Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course develops and deepens professional knowledge of the full range of air traffic technology issues needed to perform functions in the field of civil aviation management. The student is acquainted with the strategy of the airline's decision-making process and air traffic management, but also with the airport's management and organization strategy. Students will deepen the knowledge of tactics of modern marketing and marketing aviation in the air transport. Competencies and skills are developed in the field of designing and developing modern passenger handling systems and defining and analyzing specific forms of the operation of economic patterns in civil aviation.

Summary
The course develops professional knowledge of the process of transport of persons and goods in civil aviation, strategies, trends, and decisions in civil aviation. The course deepens professional knowledge of the strategy of the airline's decision-making process, air traffic management strategy, airport management, and organization strategy as well as marketing strategies of airlines. Attention is also paid to modern passenger and baggage handling systems, the cost structure and economy of aircraft operations, yield management and returns. Last but not least, the course is also devoted to the knowledge of product sales in the air transport market and the quality of transport services in air transport.
