Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The subject develops and deepens the complex knowledge of the technologies of the road and urban transport and transport in the field of operational management, optimization of transport and transport processes on transport networks, processing, and evaluation of projects including technological and economic analysis of transport systems. The theoretical basis is the mastery of theory and methods of transport technology, the theory of management and decision processes and economics. The student will acquire a set of knowledge in the area of quality assessment of transport services, measurement of the quality of transport services and possibilities of influencing transport characteristics. Competencies and skills are developed in the field of design and development of integrated transport systems and the definition and analysis of specific forms of economic patterns in the road and urban transport.

Summary
The subject deals with the relationship between the organization and the quality of transport services, with operational management of road and urban transport and optimization of the technological processes of providing transport services. The subject develops the knowledge of the
provision of transport services and in the creation of procedures for securing transported goods and the safety of transport services. The student will acquire a set of knowledge in the area
quality of the road and urban transport and its importance, quality of transport services, quality measurement and multi-criteria assessment of the quality of transport services, analysis, the influence of the transport characteristics of each type of transport, their advantages and disadvantages and the possibility of using intermodality. Competencies and skills are developed in the field of design and development of integrated transport systems, economic efficiency, and synergies.

4. Provision of transport services and special transport technologies (transport of dangerous goods, transport of food, transport of excessive and oversized costs, etc.).
5. Developments in the creation of procedures for securing transported goods and the safety of transport services.
6. National and international freight forwarding and its role in the provision of transport services.
