Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Comprehensive knowledge of transportation technologies including their links to other components of railway transport systems and their assessment in terms of reliability, quality, economic efficiency and environmental impact will be the basic competence of the graduate.

Summary

Course develops and deepens the complex knowledge about technologies and control of passenger and freight rail transport from basic and operational control on railway transport networks. Attention will also be paid to methods of processing and evaluation of technological and economic analysis projects of railway transport systems (with a focus on optimization and modernization).

Adjusting a Railway Timetable in Case of Partial or Complete Blockades. 7. Passenger Oriented Railway Disruption Management by Adapting Timetables and Vehicles Scheduling. 8.
