Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

To characterize of urban mass passenger transport signs, operational base of urban public transport, operation and outputs characteristics of urban public transport. To evaluate urban public transport quality, costs and incomes, fare systems in urban mass passenger transport. To formulate the problems dispatching control, creation of graphic timetables, timetables and traffic network of urban public transport.

Summary

Characterize signs of urban mass passenger transport, vehicles and infrastructure of urban public transport. Transport and traffic characteristics, outputs and utilization indicators of urban public transport. Problems of dispatching control, creation of graphic timetables, timetables and traffic network of urban public transport. Definition quality and urban public transport quality evaluation. Costs, incomes, operational and economics selection criteria for urban public transport vehicles, fare systems in urban mass passenger transport.

Transport characteristics of public transport. 5. The orbital period and velocity of transportation. 6. Transport characteristics of public transport. 7. Performance of public transport. 8. Performance indicators over time and use public transportation vehicles. 9. Dispatcher PT management. Diagram of transport. Timetable. 10.Quality of public transport. 11.Methods assessing the quality of public transport. 12.Public transport network and its characteristics. 13.Costs and sales of public transport. Public transport tariff systems. 14.Choice of vehicle. Business and Economics point of view choice of vehicle. Exercise Program 1. Seminar on public transport. Discussion. 2. Technical and operational characteristics of public transport vehicles. 3. Types of stops, keeping lines of public transport. 4.
