Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the subject is to gain basic knowledge in the field of economics of logistics systems. Formulation of economic aspects of business in logistics. Customer analysis and different levels of logistics services. Prepare the optimal cost and revenue structure in logistics. Summarize the results of the study of the course of work and working time in logistics and evaluate the consequences and effects of the proposed changes. Use of demand prediction methods. Skills to prove the solution of a semester project.

Summary
Students will gain basic knowledge in the field of economics of logistics systems. They will be able to perform an economic analysis of customers and use demand prediction methods. They will be able to plan the required number of employees and determine the order of tasks performed, calculate the required amount of material, and calculate costs.
