Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to acquire basic competencies that are related to the basic principles of electronics to the extent necessary for the graduate Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on aviation, who will meet them as a user. It also includes the acquisition of knowledge about the connections between the aircraft systems and the electronic part of the equipment on which he will work later. Furthermore, the aim is to master how and where to supplement the acquired knowledge later (literature, standards, internet, ...)

Summary

The course is based on module 022, Annex II, EC Decision No. 2016/008 / R - Fundamentals of Electronics in Aviation. The content of the course is focused on knowledge of the relationship between aircraft systems and the electronic part of the equipment on which it will work later. The student will gain competencies related to the issue of basic electrical principles that appear in the aviation industry.

Compulsory literature:

WYATT, D., TOOLEY, M.: Aircraft Electrical and Electronic Systems 2nd Edition. Routledge; 2nd edition, 2018, ISBN 978-0415827768.

Recommended literature:

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Continuous verification of students' knowledge by asking questions when students are actively involved in teaching. Students acquire knowledge about the connections between aircraft systems and the electronic part of the equipment, which they will work on later. Control credit test, which is composed of both theoretical knowledge and the solution of numerical examples.
