- will be able to explain the matter of management;
- get answers to what's management and what are the targets of managers and their role in management;
- will be able to describe the functions of management;
- will be able to assign the roles of managers in specific situations;
- can evaluate the skills of managers in the organizational hierarchy of the enterprise;
- can assign representatives to various stages of management;
- get your own view on the issue.

1. Definition of management - an interdisciplinary character, general classification of developmental stages, the control function of management.
2. Zero stage of the management.
3. The classical theory of management: scientific management - case studies - Taylor, Gilbreth, Ford, Bata.
4. The classical theory of management: Fayol, Weber, case studies.
5. The neo-classical theory - the interpersonal relationship management, case study.
6. Modern management theory.
7. A pragmatic empirical approach to management - Drucker, Peters, Waterman, case studies.
8. Present and further development trends of management.
9. Management system - management cycle, creating of an organizational structure, reorganization, case studies.
10. Strategy and tactics in management planning.
11. Organization and making decision in managerial practice, monitoring and control instruments.
