Students - will be able to explain the role and importance of management techniques in practice, - will be able to explain concepts of managerial methods and techniques, - obtain information on specific methods and techniques, - will be able to evaluate the methods and techniques used in practice, - able to present and defend a project.

Summary

Students in this course learn about the role and importance of management techniques in practice and the basic techniques of forecasting, strategic analysis, strategic planning, management by objectives, delegation, time management techniques, learning organization, making decision, technique control self-presentation - manager, communications, etc.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Studenti odevzdávají během semestru prostřednictvím e-learningového kurzu zadané případové studie. Studenti zpracovávají semestrální práci na zadané téma z oblasti metod a technik řízení – referát a prezentaci. Práce odevzdávají prostřednictvím e-learningového kurzu. Obhajoba semestrání práce probíhá v rámci semináře.

1. The role and importance of management techniques in practice; the definition of managerial techniques, the use of management methods and techniques in practice and their benefits. 2. Methods and techniques for the support of top management; methods, techniques and instruments of future development forecasting, strategic planning and making decision of TOP management. 3. Methods, techniques and instruments of effective production management, analysis and work measurement. 4. Methods, techniques and instruments to support the manufacturing process - logistics, maintenance. 5. Methods, techniques and instruments for effective administration. 6. Methods, techniques and instruments for information management. 7. The quality - the methods, techniques and instruments for working with quality. 8. Methods, techniques and instruments for investment evaluation; other methods applied in practice, techniques and instruments.
