Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will gain an overview of inventory management, production planning and control and material flow management and storage contracts, orders, and controlling the logistics. They will be able to implement a system JIT, MRP, BOA and KANBAN.

Logistics mission, definitions, historical development, integrated logistics system, goal logistics. Inventory management, receipt of goods, material and information flows, the application the concept of JIT. Production Planning and Control (PPS), Production and function of the program bills. Contract management, contract warehousing. options creation of the MRP system. Distribution logistics, order processing, information flows. Tasks, objectives and procedures for controlling the logistics. logistical costs and performances. Development of logistics concepts and complex information systems. Human resources logistics. Personnel aspects of logistics, financial results and benefits. Success factors of logistics.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Project processing and presentation. Credit test in LMS. Written and oral exam. The point evaluation for the credit includes the fulfillment of the qualitative requirements (content, scope and graphic processing) of the work as well as the observance of the set deadlines.

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: In order to complete the credit, students will submit the 1-semester project in the penultimate week of the semester and successfully pass the credit test in the LMS on the date agreed upon with the teacher. On the basis of successfully completed credit, students can take an exam, which will consist of a written and oral part.
