Summary
Various types of engineering materials are used in industrial practice, which include structural and stainless steels, steels with special physical properties, tool steels, cast irons, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, plastics, composite and ceramic materials.
Their chemical composition, physical, mechanical and technological properties indicate the direction of suitable use in the manufacture of structures.
