Otaining of the knowledges about surface properties of material and his treatment for use in consumer goods production, engineering industry, design, corrosive environment and next production.

Summary

Characteristic of surface of mechanical materials, physic of phase boundaries, treatment of surface before application of protective coatings, application coatings in vacuum, thermal spray application, ionic nitration, organic coatings, vitreous enamel coats, biomaterials, nanostructured materials in surface finishies, inspection of surface finish and treatment systems ISO 12 944.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1. Characteristics of surface of engineering materials. Impact of the manufacturing process and corrosion on the structure and surface structure. 2. Surface structure, oxidic surface layer, classification of corrosive aggressiveness of the environment, degradation of the surface. 3. Thermodynamics and kinetics of surface processes. 4. Surface reactions. Optical surface properties. 5. Mechanical surface treatment. 6. Chemical surface pretreatment. 7. Influence of water and detection liquids on coating properties. Features of thin films. 8. Electroplating. Conversion adjustments. 9. Electrolytic excretion of metals. 10. Physical and chemical methods of applying coatings in vacuum. 11. Ionization of the ion. 12. Thermal sprays, organic coatings and their creation. 13. Inorganic non-metallic coatings. 14. Material and coating system quality control.
