Ability
- to classify a principles of physical and numerical modeling
- to interpret these principles in methods of metal forming analysis
- to model a material response on processes parameters
- to differentiate methods of analysis following their application
- to describe Upper Bound (UB), Visioplast (VS) and FEA methods
- to apply UB, VS and FEA in bulk and sheet metal forming

Summary
Methods of analysis in metal forming processes will be introduced during this
course. Physical and numerical modelling of stress and strain fields. Slip
line method, Finite elements method and Experimental-numerical method
Visioplast will be presented in detail.
