Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student who has completed this subject will:
- understand current perception of quality;
- be able to understand the basic economic context of quality management;
- be able to use the basic quality management techniques and tools;
- be able to assess the importance of technical harmonization in relation to the European market;
- be able to explain the modular concept of product conformity demonstration.

Summary
This subject is among the group of specialized subjects, closely following up the subjects of the Basics of Management, Organization and Control and Designing Manufacturing Processes and Systems. The students will acquire basic knowledge of the demonstration of conformity and certification of products and systems. The students will be made familiar with the ISO 9001, 9004, 19011 standards. Creative thinking is developed in a comprehensive manner during the application of quality system development and management methods and tools. - Stress in this subject is on the development of the professional profile of the graduate who will manage manufacturing processes and systems in the industry.
