Students - will be able to explain the role and importance of current management techniques in practice, - can assign specific management techniques to each management area, - obtain information on specific methods and techniques, - to learn about the principles, methods, tools and methodology of implementation of selected managerial methods and technologies, - able to present and defend the project.

Úloha a význam progresivních managerských technik v praxi; komplexní přehled o aplikačních a metodických aspektech moderního managementu; detailní seznámení s úspěšnými manažerskými přístupy; osvojení si vybraných metod, technik a nástrojů využívaných v praxi.

Other requirements

Active participation at seminars at least 80%. Semester work and its defense; Exam. Submission of complete processed semester works will take place according to the set schedule (see LMS) no later than one week before the actual presentation. The point evaluation of the semester work includes the fulfillment of qualitative requirements (content, scope, and graphic processing) of the work, the actual presentation of the work, and also the set deadlines.

Lectures: 1. The role and importance of management techniques in practice; the definition of managerial techniques, the use of management methods and techniques in practice and their benefits. 2. Methods and techniques for the support of top management; methods, techniques and instruments of future development forecasting. 3. Methods and techniques for the support of top management; strategic planning and making decision of TOP management. 4. Methods, techniques and instruments of effective production management.Lean production. 5. Methods, techniques and instruments to support the manufacturing process - logistics, maintenance. 6. Six sigma. 7. Methods, techniques and instruments for effective administration. 8. Methods, techniques and instruments for information management. 9. The quality – the methods, techniques and instruments for working with quality. 10. The quality – the methods, techniques and instruments for working with quality - continuation. 11. Methods, techniques and instruments for investment evaluation. 12. Other methods applied in practice, techniques and instruments. 13. Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Submission of the complete semester project (no later than one week before the actual presentation). Presentation of the semester project on the second to last week of the semester. Based on successfully completed credit, students can take an exam, which will consist of a written and oral part.
