Ability - to describe material response during heat treatment processes - to apply principles of physical metallurgy to prediction of material properties - to prepare heat treatment technologies in accordance with product properties

Summary

In the frame of the study student, obtain deeper and more detailed knowledge about Influence of inside construction of material and of material property on course technological process. Influence of technological process on change of material structure and of material property. Influence of technology on damage of material. Influence technology of cutting, of forming, of welding, of heat processing, of surface treatment and of corrosive environment.

Subject syllabus:

EN: 1. Structure of the engineering materials. 2. Mistakes of the crystallography grating. 3. Diffusion in metal and alloys. 4. Theory of the phasic conversions. 5. Recrystallization of the metals and alloys. 6. Influence of the technological process on deformation engineering materials. 7. Influence technological process on recrystallization engineering materials. 8. Bases of the broken mechanics and break toughness of the engineering materials. 9. Influence of the technological process on rise of the fracture in the engineering materials. 10. Corrosion of the engineering materials. 11. Characteristics of the unconventional materials. 12. Unconventional technology - ionic processes, nanotechnology, powdery metallurgy.
