Ability: - to describe material behavior during metallurgical processes of welding - to prepare welding technologies in accordance with product properties - to research and development of new welding and cutting technologies, possibilities of their automation - to model welding processes physically and numerically

Summary

The subject includes study of welding and thermal cutting technologies which are specified in curriculum of this subject. Study include principles of welding and cutting technologies, technological parameters, parent materials, welding positions, welding and cutting machines and equipments, shapes of welding grooves, filler and consumption materials, research and development of new welding and cutting technologies, possibilities of their automation.
